1. Is iYomu free?

Yes, iYomu is free for all users.

Users can access all areas of the site at no cost. iYomu provides users with a 1GB of storage to enable users to store emails, music, videos, documents and photos for free.

2. Can I purchase more online storage space?

iYomu has a number of options for users to increase their storage space from 1GB free up to 8GB of storage space. Additional storage may be purchased using the iYomu secure online payment system. Storage is purchased on a monthly basis and may be cancelled at any time.

3. How much does it cost to increase my iYomu storage capacity?

The iYomu online storage pricing options are set to allow maximum flexibility for users. Users may increase their storage at any time up to a current maximum of 8GB.

4. Can my profile be set to private?

iYomu is a public website and any content placed in the member profile area may be viewed by other iYomu users.

Users should consider what content, and images are placed within their public profile. No personal contact information, including physical addresses, phone numbers or images that contain contact information are allowed.

Private content including personal data, important documents, music, videos, photographs etc may be stored in the iYomu secure storage vault. The vault allows you to control whether you retain your files securely, for your eyes only, or you can choose to provide file access to designated contacts or full access to all iYomu users.

5. How do I change my personal profile?

You can change your personal profile details at any time. You will need to login to iYomu, go to your personal profile page and edit the content as you wish.

6. I can't log into my iYomu account - what do I do?

Please verify that you are logging in with the correct password and username. We also recommend clearing your browser's cookies and temporary internet files and then try logging in again.

To do this you will need to log on to the iYomu site. Then on the menu at the top click on Tools. Then click on Internet Options. Then click on Clear History. This will clear cached files and should resolve the problem.

iYomu may delete uploaded content that is deemed to violate iYomu's Terms and Conditions. Any content that is deleted by iYomu cannot be retrieved.

7. How do I change my password?

When you sign up to iYomu you receive your password by email. Should you wish to change your password or replace the one provided, please go to the left hand login box on the home page and click on the "Change Password" feature. From here you will be required to type in your old password and enter your own personal password twice. Your new password will be implemented immediately.

8. I forgot my password - what do I do?

If you cannot recall your password please follow the 'forgot password' link provided at login. Enter your username and your email address, which will instigate an email being sent to you containing a URL you can use to login in and change your password.

9. I forgot my username - what do I do?

Your username is the name that you first used to set up your iYomu account. Please start by checking your emails to locate the first email that iYomu sent to you, as this will reconfirm your username. Alternatively you can use the 'forgot password' link and enter in the email address you used to sign up. The email sent will contain your username.

10. I am having difficulty uploading an image - what do I do?

First, make sure the image you are attempting to upload is in one of the image formats that iYomu accepts.

Next, ensure the filename is simple and short, with no spaces or odd characters eg. Myimage.jpg as long filenames may cause problems. If you still have difficulty uploading your file it may be because your file is corrupt or the file upload is timing out due to very large file size. Upload speeds vary greatly from country to country and broadband connection to broadband connection. Files over 5MB will take some time to upload.

11. How I report inappropriate content?

If you feel another member has uploaded content that is inappropriate or content that violates iYomu's Terms and Conditions please notify iYomu using the misuse contact form located under the help section of the home page or email misuse@iyomu.com. iYomu will use its discretion to whether member submitted content contravenes the terms of the site. Any content iYomu finds to be offensive, inappropriate or illegal will be removed from the site.

12. How do I report an error?

Please contact us at support@iyomu.com with a description of the error you received and what you were doing in when you received the error.

We will attempt to resolve the problem within as short a time as is possible.

13. How do I delete my iYomu account?

If you wish to close your iYomu account please use the edit functions on your profile to remove all personal content. Once content has been removed iYomu will be unable to retrieve any uploaded content or files.

14. How do I report under age users?

iYomu is a site for Grown Ups. Users must be 18 to join iYomu and our Terms of Service preclude anyone under 18 from joining iYomu. If you are aware of a member who is under 18 years of age please inform iYomu at support@iyomu.com with details of the user.

15. How do I report copyright violation?

At iYomu we take all breaches of copyright very seriously.

If you believe that your copyright-protected work has been copied and posted on iYomu.com in a way that constitutes copyright infringement then please contact us on legal@iyomu.com and provide us with the with the following information:

(i) an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;

(ii) a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;

(iii) a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the Website;

(iv) your address, telephone number, and email address;

(v) a written statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;

(vi) a statement by you that the above information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

16. How do I change my profile photo?.

To change the photo that appears on your profile page please login to your personal profile page and upload a new photograph. This will automatically replace the previous uploaded image. You may need to clear your cache in your computer so that it refreshes your content and shows the new uploaded photograph.

17. I think that someone has been into my account - what do I do?

Firstly you should change you password using the ‘Change Password’ feature in the login box. Ensure the password for your iYomu.com account is never the same for your email account or an easily predicted number or word. iYomu recommends using a combination of letters and numbers for your password.
