About Us

iYomu has been created by a group of international people who all believed that there was no meaningful online social networking space that was truly relevant to what we, our friends, families and colleagues wanted in our lives.

We saw that there was significant potential for an online space to be created for Grown Ups where people, who felt excluded by what existed in the current social networking space, could experience the benefits of virtual communities and global connectivity. So iYomu was created to provide this online space that offered new ways to enrich the lives of those who use iYomu through access to a relevant global community of people.

We specifically designed iYomu to allow the user full control over their experience, their profile and all of their data. A prominent part of this design has involved our belief that, unlike many sites, we do not expect the user to be technically expert at using such things as HTML.

It has always been a key focus for us that the iYomu site should be easy to use, relevant and fun.
